JBL L810 3-Way Bookshelf Speakers (Cherry, Pair)
The JBL L810 3-Way 5-1/4" Bookshelf Speaker (Pair) will take your audio listening experience to a whole new level. The Studio L series was designed for both professional and entertainment enthusiasts with the capability to deliver crystal clear dialog, and tight sound response. It features a 5-1/4" Polyplas woofer cone with an oversized Kapton voice coil and HeatScape motor. In addition, it offers a 1" pure-titanium dome tweeter mounted in Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal (EOS) waveguides, and a 3/4" Mylar dome mounted in a Bi-Radial horn with a cast aluminum chassis.
It features 75W RMS/300W peak power, Low-diffraction, IsoPower baffle, Straight-Line Signal Path (SSP) crossover network, magnetic shielding, and heavy-duty (gold-plated) binding posts. With dual front-facing FreeFlow bass ports, it provides superior bass quality with minimum distortion, even at high listening levels. - This unique design is capable of eliminating unwanted tonal resonances in the signal path. The end result is a full, clear, tight reproduction of high frequencies.
- PolyPlas Driver Technology
- PolyPlas technology enhances the organic fiber structure of low-and midrange-frequency cones, without adding significant weight. The PolyPlas coating eliminates internal resonances and unifies pistonic motion. Resulting in a tighter bass output and an improved midrange response.
- 3-Way Speaker Configuration
- Due to its 3-way speaker design and quality cones, this speaker reproduces a full-range of frequencies and lifelike imaging.
- Dual FreeFlow Port Design
- The Dual FreeFlow port design offers tighter bass by extending deep bass response. It eliminates unwanted turbulence by coupling internal air motion to a computer-designed aperture with a flared shape, allowing maximum air flow without audible "port noise".
- Bi-Wiring Capabilities
- The internal dividing network of this speaker enables bi-wiring capabilities that offer more flexibility in amplifier selection, and provides several sonic advantages in the overall audio response.
