Due to a floor space shortage, I am using these as my mains for the family room. They look excellent hanging on the wall, and were easy to install (except for the template that comes with it didnt match the back of the speaker).
I find the full range for them to be very good for their size, but I am using a JBL sub to handle the lower range. I have only had these for about 2 weeks now.. so I have run the full gamut of use on them yet.
I deducted a star from the product for the template and I also think prices on these are a bit high (aimed at JBL).

Bought to replace a set of JBL Decade Series speakers that got broke during a move. They sound really good but don't seem to be quite as full sounding as the Decade ones. [...] The photo is not entirely accurate, the speakers are mirror image so you can position them with woofers inward or outward depending on placement spacing and personal preference.

These speakers were purchased to replace my 28 year old JBL L46 bookshelf units used as surround speakers in our home theater system. I am very pleased with the wide and uniform frequency response from the new L820s as well as their high efficiency. They beautifully complement my recently purchased JBL LC2 center channel speaker from the same series and my legacy JBL XPL200 front speakers. Even more important, my wife has said they are beautiful!
