The JBL LC2 is the ultimate Center Speaker component for your 4-way Studio L speaker system. Certainly you could add this fabulous center to any multichannel configuration, but you'll get the best results by matching all the speakers in your system. Like musical instruments, speakers have timbre, they have character and tend to color sound in a manner unique to their manufacture. Studio L speaker systems create the perfect environment for listening to SACDs. The 4-way version of the Studio L Center boasts a rounded, low-diffraction IsoPower baffle to reduce unwanted resonances. The heavily braced MDF construction minimizes internal vibration, clearing the way for perfect reproduction of the spoken word.
In a home theater system, the center channel is typically mounted directly above or below the video display, or even behind a projection screen if it is constructed to not alter the sound going through it. The LC2 boasts a straight-line signal path network to ensure the cleanest possible center channel signal, resulting in crisp and distinct movie dialogue.

JBL's Studio Series have taken my home theater to new heights. The sound quality is fantastic! The LC2 is a perfect match to my other components, and the fit and finish were top notch. I thought I had a fair center channel previously until I connected this one. I cannot believe how much I was missing. The price is a bit up there compared to others, but this one is in a class of its own. The build quality alone tells me it will be part of my system for quite a few years. Buy this one. It is worth it.
