Comments about On-Stage SB96+ Rolling Studio Boom Stand:
I am using this stand for some high overheads on a drum kit. The reach of the stand is great. Very flexible. I would have to agree with other reviews that the base of this stand is rather poorly designed. I don't plan to use these in a constant tear down & setup situation, so they'll work for my purpose. Probably wouldn't recommend them for studio use.

Comments about On-Stage SB96+ Rolling Studio Boom Stand:
I've used this on my first session to hold a stereo pair of small cap condensers as overheads. Worked great and easy to transport to the studio and set up.

Comments about On-Stage SB96+ Rolling Studio Boom Stand:
My choice was this or a 240$ boom from [...]. Same boom. Does what it says and i was pleased with the product. Very strong and easy to adjust. Works great on my green screen set up. It did not come with a thin 5/8 wrench for attaching the wheels. But you can get them on hand tight very easily. i would put a little WD40 on the threads to prevent rust. Great deal!!

Comments about On-Stage SB96+ Rolling Studio Boom Stand:
Whereas most mic equipment, booms, stands, extensions, and supports are multifaceted enough to accept several (brands of) holders and adapters - in order to be useful once you purchase them - this particular unit IS NOT one of those items. No references are made as to screw/bolt size of the armature (not standard) or the 7" extension, nor is there any sort of adapter available with the stand - or as an additional component to purchase - to accept different sized attachments. Useless if you wish to use your equipment. Additionally, poor design and/or workmanship does not allow for each of the (4) wheeled leg extensions to reach the floor all at the same time...so the unit rocks. What's more, the wheels are at such a cockeyed angle (visable in the photo - sort of) that they do not roll efficiently - and a couple don't even roll at all in concert with the two which do! They don't swivel or turn as needed, so they scrape along the floor as you move it!I will say it is heavy duty, and had the design been better, the heft and solid build would have been a huge plus.Perhaps the lack of available information should have been my clue that this expensive piece of useless equipment,[...]
