The Hoya 52mm Introductory Filter Kit is a general purpose starter kit.
Ultraviolet (UV) Filter
Hoya Haze (UV) Filters are wise investments. They help protect your valuable investment from dust, moisture and scratches, which can lead to costly repairs.
Circular Polarizing Filter
Light rays which are reflected become polarized. Polarizing filters are used to select which light rays enter your camera lens. They can remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass and also saturate colors providing better contrast. The effect can be seen through the viewfinder and changed by rotating the filter. The filter factor varies according to how the filter is rotated and its orientation to the sun.
Warming Filter (Intensifier)
The Hoya Warming filter controls the bluish coloration that affects daylight film. They can also remove excessive blue from the effects of electronic flash. Reduces blue to green color and makes the color of human skin look more sun-tanned. Combination with Pro 1UV filter is recommended for outdoor shooting.
Note! Circular polarizers are specifically designed for use with auto-focus SLR cameras (They will also work on manual systems and video cameras).

The reason I purchase this product is hope to get the polarize filter with other 2 filters in a great price. Once I got the filter and try it, I still see glare reflection from store window. I like Hoya product because I had 2 UV filters and they are all made in Japan and nice quality. However, this kit is made in Philippine the quality is not good as I hope. The UV filter came with kit is not that clear. I return this product after I realized its not going to get what I want. I went with Hoya HMC filter from B&H and I got much better result.
Problems Encountered: Polarized filter not really worksUV filter not that clearNever tried the warm color filter

This is a good intro filter kit. I've been using it with my 35mm f1.8 Nikon lens and I've had decent results. However, I've noticed that the threads don't always line up well and the filters don't hold the lens cap very securely. The construction doesn't seem too sturdy, but so far, so good. For an enthusiast like myself these are sufficient. A pro might consider a higher grade...

Comments about Hoya 52mm Introductory Filter Kit:
It is a starter kit, you have to keep that in mind.
You won't find pro quality filters with mindblowing effects.
But it will let you dabble with what the filtes can change in a picture to get an overall idea.
I loved the kit, and the only drawback is that I want more filters of different kinds, much more that my wallet shoud handle...

Comments about Hoya 52mm Introductory Filter Kit:
The product does what it's advertised to do. I bought this kit because I had heard other introductory lens kits distort the pictures. I haven't found that with these lenses. I'm an amateur and haven't used any higher quality lenses, so I can't speak to how they compare to more expensive lenses but they seem to do the job for my purposes.

A beginner kit that is still a solid piece of gear. There are tons of cheapo filters out there, but this kit is a clear step above and worth the extra money.

Comments about Hoya 52mm Introductory Filter Kit:
Three very commonly used filters, UV, CPL, and 81A warming. I mostly use the UV filter for protection, and it does this well. The CPL is quite good as well. The 81A warming filter produces good results also. I don't use the pouch, as my camera bag has ample filter holsters. All three filters can be left on while using the Nikon lens caps as well.

Comments about Hoya 52mm Introductory Filter Kit:
These filters are great for getting rid of glare, creating a warm glow, and just plain old protecting my Leica lense. The pouch is awesome for keeping everything organized and easy to find and the price was also very reasonable. These filters have taken my photos to another level. Thanks Hoya, looking forward to playing with more of your filters in the future.

Comments about Hoya 52mm Introductory Filter Kit:
I primarily use the polarizing filter to reduce reflections when photographing artwork under glass. It's also great for skies in landscape shots. The warm filter replaces my routine step of warming up colors when I edit. It also seems to give a better balanced color image when I push saturation as I often do. My end product is color notes for painting in watercolor so this is a great set for me.
