Put the UV filter on my lens without examining it closely, but seemed to do the job. When I used the circular polarizer for the first time, I noticed how dirty the filter was. Upon closer inspection, all three of the filters were dirty and had a hazy film on them. Maybe I'm wrong, but seems to me a filter can't do it's job properly if it's dirty. I assumed filters were ready to use straight out of the pkg, but you know what happens when you assume! The circular polarizer also is very hard to remove once placed on the lens. I can't say I'd purchase these again.

I use the filters on my Sigma lens with my Nikon D80 and they work very well at filtering artifacts without lowering the picture quality.
I keep one on at all times to keep the lens protected as well.

Comments about Hoya 72mm Introductory Filter Kit:
Thinking that this product would do the trick To provide introductory filter capabilities for my new 50mm prime lens I was deeply disappointed. Granted the UV and CPL Filter provide basic protection to the lens, however the glare and reflections when used produced by them and especially in combination make this product unusable during low light and during the night. Don't shoot in any direction of any light source unless you like this glare effect. I constantly find myself taking off the filters to avoid the unnecessary glare, reflections etc. I was also disappointed by the fact that the filters came without plastic cover, they came in a plastic sachet only, which doesn't fully close, so the filters were exposed to the environment. I had to properly clean them before using them. I learnt not to save on filters in the future through this experience.

Great kit if you want all 3 filters- at an awesome price. If you rather spend the extra $$$ you can upgrade to the Hoya ProDigital, but the Hoya intro kit filters work great - and the difference is minimal. Very happy with my purchase!

I needed a 72mm circular polarizer and UV filter, so I got this set which has both, a third filter to fool around with, and a case to store them in. All that for about the cost of two filters.

A set of three most useful filter for less than the price of one of them. I would have preferred a less expensive option that did not have the warming filter.

Comments about Hoya 72mm Introductory Filter Kit:
Ok kit for a first time DSLR owner however, I haven't got much use out of the warming filter. The included case is a bit disappointing. In the future I think I'd just buy a Polarizer and UV filter separately.

Comments about Hoya 72mm Introductory Filter Kit:
I can't comment a lot on the filter quality yet, as I haven't used them all that much, but this is a good way to buy them - I wish they had them in other sizes I need as well.
I am a bit concerned about the 'envelope' they come in though. When that is put into a camera bag, I am not sure it really protects the filters well. I can see the filters easily breaking or being scratched through the cloth envelope. I might prefer the old fasioned plastic holders, which do not come with these.

Comments about Hoya 72mm Introductory Filter Kit:
I use these filters on a recently purchased Canon EF-S 15-85mm lense. The UV is always on for protection and the circular polarizer is a must for landscapes. The warm filter I considered a bonus. As others have mentioned the included case while effective protection is bulky and too large for carrying with you on a casual day of shooting. I am looking for an alternative case.

I just got into photography and although these are not the best quality filters they are absolutely fine to start out with although I do recommend upgrading at some later time.

Comments about Hoya 72mm Introductory Filter Kit:
the quality is very good, and the warm filter has the perfect color, i would add an ND to make it perfect (specially to fill that empty space in the bag)
