Cable is fine. I think Comprehensive makes a fine product. No reason to pay so much more for a MONSTER name.
The problems is nomenclature. Toslink and S/PDIF are terms being used quite interchangeably. My TV is optical Toslink out. That is what this cable is. My soundbar is S/PDIF optical in. Many places use Toslink and S/PDIF to mean the same thing. Its not. I don't think there is specific cable that meets my (and I presume other people's) need. I don't want to buy a $13 Toslink, a $20 S/PDIF and a $30-$60 converter. Silly, don't you think?
