I have 7 of these devices and they have lasted for years! No problems connecting as bridge devices in multi-point and point to point connections.

Comments about D-Link AirPlus Xtreme G DWL-2100AP High-Speed Wireless Access Point:
For the most part I use these in client mode and for the money, they work pretty well, although I have to say too that they don't seem to last very long. My last one made it less than two years. I'd like it better if the interface included more information about the quality of the connection. Real-time signal strength and s/n would be very helpful. It would also be nice if the features were better documented.
I was actually surprised to find that they were still selling the same model...the 2100Ap has been around for quite a while. I've tried some other brands, but they all seemed to have their own set of problems and the 2100AP seems to be a better match for my DWL-2700AP access point than any of the others.
It's easy for me to set up, but that's only because I have been using the same model for years. The first one was not that easy., and the documentation is not a lot of help...it basically just walks you through the screens you would see if you were using the web interface. Pretty typical of this type of product though.

Comments about D-Link AirPlus Xtreme G DWL-2100AP High-Speed Wireless Access Point:
I have been fighting with D-link about which product I needed to address my signal issues, this one finally addressed it correctly. Setup was very easy and fast, and I am not a very technical user. Highly recommend this for added signal strength.
