This gaffer tape left a sticky residue when removed from my speedlights, tripods, umbrellas, clothing and wherever else it was used.
The residue was easily removed with a product like Goo Gone or WD-40, but that's not the point, is it?
Permacel/Shurtape is very aggressive yet can be cleanly removed weeks later.

Comments about General Brand Pro Gaffer Tape, White - 1" x 60 Yards:
This is a great product when you're on a film student budget. It sticks on many different types of surfaces, and comes off with no residue. You can also write on the white surface. After using the tape on film sets for over a year, I have not had any problems.

For gaffers, A.D.s, and A.C.s, there is one product that holds all films together-GAFFER TAPE. THis particular brand applies easily and is easily removable from all surfaces. It rips easily by hand without needing a blade. You can't go on a set without it.

Comments about General Brand Pro Gaffer Tape, White - 1" x 60 Yards:
This tape is tuff and really holds things in place. This 1" version is easy to handle but I think the 2" version would have some good uses
too. The white is great for white background materials and the matte finish keeps it from
showing in the pics.

I used this tape to spot positioning of my lighting, my camera and my subject when planning senior portrait shooting on a gym floor and gym stage. I wanted to be sure the tape could be easily removed without leaving any residue on the floor. It worked very well.
