Works with the firestores own adapters to mount on the back. Seems fairly stable. Not sure how easily wireless mics fit onto this yet...

Perfect companion for HD100 DTE systems mounted behind a JVC HD-110 with Anton Bauer batteries. We use a variety of A/B battery packs all at different sizes and this mount makes it easy to adjust everytime.

If you own a Firestore HD for any camera with an Anton Bauer battery mount, one of these is a must-have. It allows you to mount your Firestore behind the battery and, used with the PT-FS4 Power Tap Connection, power the Firestore from the AB battery. Very useful, as this will power and charge the Firestore's own battery any time there is an AB battery on the camera's mount. Be careful of the Power Tap connection on the bottom of the Firestore as it sticks out and can receive more than it's fair share of bumps. Too many and the power connection starts to loosen and the HD doesn't always get power properly from the AB battery.

I love this thing because it allows you to attache the firestore and/or additional accessories to the back of the camera allowing you to take more weight off the front so you have to work less to keep the camera up.
