I purchased and returned a Gepe 10" cable release, and even though the Gepe had no problems and felt very well built I got the Pentax 30. This one has a very smooth action, is the right length, and the disk lock works flawlessly.

Great. Seems very sturdy. Smooth action. If you're strapped for cash, go for a cheaper one, pentax cameras don't require any sort of special cable release.
