Canon 0975B001 SBR-1000 Mini-DV Camcorder Shooting Brace
The Canon 0975B001 SBR-1000 is a shooting brace for use with lightweight Mini-DV camcorders. Half of the SBR-1000 attaches to the bottom of the camera and extends downward with an adjustable strut. The strut terminates with a metal ball and connects to a socket on the end of a comfortable neck strap. The assembly provides both vertical support and a fulcrum, freeing the hands to manipulate camera controls and sideways motion for a large-camera look.

It was a really odd model. I felt that it didn't support the camera at all especially because it's attached to the neck, not the shoulder.
