Comments about Canon D-Terminal to Component Video Cable:
Several reviews mention the cables length in a negative light.. I must say, I use this camera in a scenario where it's connected to a switcher through a video snake -the length of this cable is perfect. The length allows me to properly route the cable down the tripod legs while gaffing it several points. Most component cables for other cameras are too short to do this.

My original cable was causing flickering and color loss in the monitor. I replaced it with this one and it worked great.

Comments about Canon D-Terminal to Component Video Cable:
This is a durable cable that does the job. It's a little hard to pull back out once it's put in the component out, but that is probably a good thing. It won't fall out unintentionally. I use this to run my Canon XH A1 to a projector for live feed.

I use the Canon component cable with a Panasonic HVX 200 and the unit works great. The cable is longer and more durable than the one supplied by Panasonic.

Comments about Canon D-Terminal to Component Video Cable:
We got this as a replacement component cable for our Panasonic HVX-200. It works great. It's a little longer than the panasonic cable, which is good for us. We could use the extra length. You just have to be careful with these type of cables. If it gets loose the picture will go bad. I always loop the cable around the handle on top of the camera to keep the weight of the cable off the connection. That helps a lot. But all in all, it works great!

Comments about Canon D-Terminal to Component Video Cable:
Cable length long enough to give freedom to move monitor - connection still the wonky d-terminal that makes me wonder how long it'll last, but it feels better than panasonics.

For those times when you do something really stupid like put your component cable on the roof of your car and drive away, B&H offers these cables that are a direct replacement for your lost cable on the XH-A1.

Comments about Canon D-Terminal to Component Video Cable:
I bought this cable so that one cable is always attached to my HD TV and one is always in my camera case. Since it is a Canon product it is exactly the same as the one that came with the camera it is sturdy/well made.

Comments about Canon D-Terminal to Component Video Cable:
A great cable, the old one went out that we were using and we needed a replacement. The only drawback to this cable is that it is VERY long, so it can get in the way sometimes. But other than that, it works great.
