The Infinova V2501-M encodes video, audio and control signals from a single camera for simultaneous transmission to multiple receivers over a network. Utilizing the MPEG-4 codec for video and the G711 codec for audio, this device employs various compression schemes to maintain video quality while keeping network traffic to a minimum. When used with the Infinova V2502-M decoder, seamless point-to-point video and control over Ethernet can be established.
