Very compact, well designed, good software makes it very handy for labeling folders etc, plenty of recording capacity, easy to use, and can make backups on my computer or CDs. I use it especially when traveling in foreign countries to keep track of my daily activities/photos and recording people in foreign languages. I have not found anything not to like about it and my friends are impressed with it. No cons.

Comments about Sony ICD-MX20 Digital Voice Recorder:

First of many handhelds I have tried that works very well with Dragon Naturally Speaking. Easy to use away from the office and recognition is virtually indistinguishable from a headset mike attached to the computer.

Comments about Sony ICD-MX20 Digital Voice Recorder:

I use this voice recorder for personal use, especially for recording first sounds of a granddaughter, BUT -- its controls are definitely too small for a guy with big hands. The joy-stick is much too sensitive and is easily toggled to un-intended menus or actions.
