The Elmo PTC-100B is a pan, tilt and zoom remote control communications camera for network and educational solutions. The camera offers full automatic operation as well as manual camera controls. This model is the black colored version of the PTC-100S.
- High Quality Video
- The PTC-100B has a lens that outputs high quality video even in low light conditions. The 4mm f/1.6 wide setting of the zoom lens gives a 47.3 degrees horizontal angle. Full zoom is at 88mm (22x optical zoom) which results in a 2.2 degrees horizontal angle. Low light sensitivity is rated at a mere 2 Lux with a total of 49dB signal before noise. Video output is through either composite or S-video connectors.
- Full Remote Camera and Position Controls
- The Elmo does everything remotely with its included infrared wireless remote controller. The user can control backlight compensation, auto/manual iris, white balance, auto/manual focus, color balance, gain and edge enhancements. The remote also controls pan and tilt functions. There are 6 programmable positions that can be accessed. Manual positioning is possible +/- 150 degrees pan and -30 to +90 degrees tilting. There are 8 selectable speed setting for these functions. A single remote can control up to 7 PTC-100S/B or the ceiling mount version PTC-110R cameras.
