The Wireless G Plus MIMO Router from Belkin combines the functions of an Cable/DSL router and a wireless access point into one compact device. The router allows you to share your internet connection between several computers on your network.
The router features Belkin's MIMO technology to help increase transfer speeds and transmission range. It is also fully compatible with Pre-N, 802.11b and standard 802.11g networks. These features make the wireless router a great way to add wireless access to your home or office network.
- Internet Sharing
- The router allows you to share a single internet connection between computers on your network. The router features a wireless interface plus 4 wired Ethernet ports, allowing you to easily connect computers.
- 1000' Wireless Range
- The Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) technology allows for a wireless transmission range of up to 1000' (300 m). This lets you setup your network without having to worry about a computer being out of range.
- Fast Transfer Speeds
- When used with other MIMO devices transfer speeds can reach up to 108 Mbps, twice that of a standard 802.11g network. Users who have standard 802.11g and 802.11b cards will notice performance improvements of up to 10%.
