Ivory Grand Pianos from Synthogy brings together 3 of the most coveted acoustic grand pianos, using 40GB of samples and a sample-playback engine built from the ground up to bring out the resonance, response and character of the world's finest Concert Grands.
The sessions for recording Ivory Grand Pianos were produced by Joe Ierardi, an accomplished pianist and award winning sound designer and producer of piano modules for Kurzweil Music Systems. Ierardi's unique expertise covers every aspect of piano design, from tuning and regulation to recording, editing, programming and engine design.
Note! Requires iLok copy protection device if one is not currently present on the system. iLok is not supplied with the software.
- 40GB of samples from a German Steinway D 9' Concert Grand, the Bösendorfer 290 Imperial Grand and a Yamaha C7 Grand. Each piano can be installed separately
- Over 4,000 samples
- Up to 10 discrete stereo dynamic levels
- Each Piano is chromatically sampled including all 88 notes at every dynamic level (97 notes for the Bösendorfer 290)

I have been updating my computer system and installing software for Windows Vista 64 bit with a quad core duo processor and 8GB ram. I purchased Ivory 1.7 Grand Pianos and the iLok device. I was happy to find that the installation and the Ivory update to 1.72 from Synthogy for Vista 64 went flawlessly. I was amazed to find that all of the reviews I had read about this program were true. It produces true grand piano sound. It is beautiful sound and there is a complete set of controls to adjust the qualities and environment of the instrument ...
It was well worth the money. I love it.
