Even if you're a seasoned pro this detailed DVD will still teach you a trick or two. As for me it was worth it just to finally learn how to set exposure correctly using the the in-camera histogram. I also learned how to use the "shot transition" feature, which the manual is very sketchy about.

"HOW TO SHOOT LIKE A PRO w/SONY HDR-HC1" is a great help in understanding the multitude of features this camcorder has. I now am able to set up my "Personal Menu" and delete options I will never use. The examples and illustrations are easily understood, and even though this DVD is almost 2 hours in length, it is divided into chapters so the viewer has the option of watching it in segments. A great tool to refer to now and later. This DVD should have been included in the box the camcorder came in...instead of the manual!
