The Auxiliary Panpilot is an intriguing combination of a lightweight Mini-DV camera stabilizer and tripod, thanks to it's three adjustable counterweight arms which double as a static support. Unlike gimbaled conventional camera stabilizers, the Panpilot is rigid, allowing a certain amount of gestural expression, while maintaining basic camera stability due to the pendulum effect of the counterweights.
