- Material used is a type of nylon-blend velour specially dyed to specifications.
- Hand painted on one side to create an "Old Masters" effect, an important plus to the portrait photographer. Reverse side is offered in a solid color for a mutitude of photographic purposes.
- Because the material is not completely opaque, the backgrounds respond very well to additive color through the use of gels.

Backdrop for portraits. I mainly use the plain grey on the back. The stormy grey color has pink color flecks in it. Packs up nicely into an oversize bag so you don't have to force it in. Used in home studio and on location. Purchased after reading the other reviews here and I am not disappointed.

You never know when you may need a limbo background. I've used the Background-in-a-Bag products for many years. They work well for both stills and video. I always keep a stormy grey color in the trunk of my car. Lit, the background is a pleasing grey. In shadow, it becomes a limbo black. It requires minimum care, just stuff it in the bag and away you go. It also works great to block window light. One point of caution... avoid using gaffer's tape as it will strip velour from the backing.

It's nicer than what I had, but I was disappointed in two ways, 1) it's not really wrinkle free and 2) the main side is basically unusable for my purposes due to the pink splotches. Also it is easy to make a hole in it.

It's a nice neutral gray background on the back but the front has odd bright pink accents that make it unusable for us. I have no idea how pink fits in to the "stormy" description but the back of the background is great. Portable and user friendly.
