    The Meade Series 5000 2" Enhanced Diagonal reflects 99% of the light from the telescope's primary optics into your eyepiece. At 99% reflection, celestial objects will appear clearer because when you're trying to see that farthest object, that extra percent makes a big difference.

    It may also be used on refractors and SCTs (Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes). Each diagonal includes a Meade optical-flat mirror of Pyrex glass, UHTC-coated for maximum reflectivity.

    For additional viewing support, this piece will not only accept 2" but 1.25" filters as well using the included adapter eyepiece.

    • Enhanced dielectric coatings with 99% reflectivity over the visual spectrum.
    • Render images which are upright but laterally reversed.
    • Also accepts 1.25" filters.
