Middle Atlantic SRB-1-MRK-3624 is a seismic certified riser base that can accommodate a single MRK series 36" (914 mm) deep rack. Use this riser base for field rough-in prior to arrival of racks and enclosures. For advanced cable management, it acts as a lower cable chase for passing cables between racks.
SRB-1-MRK-3624 is ideal for use in seismic applications and, if necessary, can protect 1000 lb (454.5 kg) of essential equipments when anchored with floor using appropriate bracket. This riser base has durable textured black powder coat finish. Its structure uses 11-gauge steel with fully welded construction.
- Convenience
- SRB-1-MRK-3624 is ideal for raised floor installation. A 36" (914 mm) deep rack (MRK series) can sit comfortably on this riser base. This riser base can act as a lower cable chase for passing cables between racks in multi-bay installations.
- Seismic Certified
- SRB-1-MRK-3624 is designed and certified for use in high seismic zones. It has been rigorously tested to satisfy the UBC 1997 and CBC 2001 Seismic Zone 4; IBC 2000, IBC 2003, 2002 ASCE 7 - 02, and 2003 NFPA 5000 Seismic Use group III requirements. If necessary, the riser base can protect 1000 lb (454.5 kg) of equipments when it's anchored with floor using MRK-Z4 seismic bracket.
