THROAT Physical Modeling Vocal Designer

• A vocal tool that allows one to process a vocal through a meticulously crafted physical model of the human vocal tract.

• the process begins by neutralizing the effect of the original singer's vocal tract and then providing the ability to specify the characteristics of the modeled vocal tract.

• Controls allow for modifying the voice's glottal waveform as well as globally stretch, shortening, widening or constricting the modeled vocal tract. For even more detailed control, THROAT's graphical Throat Shaping display allows one to individually adjust the position and width of five points in the vocal tract model, from the vocal cords, through the throat, mouth and out to the lips.

• Breathiness controls allow for adding variable frequency noise to the model, resulting in a range of vocal effects from subtle breathiness, to raspiness, to a full whisper.

• The plug-in has been designed to allow subtle modifications to a voice's vocal quality,but the range of the controls also allows the creation of vocal tract models well beyond the limits of physical human anatomy, offering the possibility of vocal characteristics that are unattainable by any other means.

DUO Vocal Modeling Auto-Doubler

• Automatically generates a doubled vocal part from an existing vocal.

• In addition to allowing programmable variation in pitch, timing and vibrato depth, for even more realism, the plug-in also includes a simplified version of THROAT's vocal modeling to provide timbral variation for the doubled part.

• The output section provides independent control of the level and stereo position of the original and doubled voices.

CHOIR Vocal Multiplier

• Neither a harmonizer nor a conventional chorus effect, CHOIR is a unique processor that turns a single voice into 4, 8, 16 or 32 distinct individual unison voices, each with its own pitch, timing and vibrato variations.

• If desired, the voices can be spread across the stereo spectrum.

• By assigning an instance of the plug-in to each of four voices singing four-part harmony, one can achieve an instant choir.

PUNCH Vocal Impact Enhancer

• A processor that provides one with the ability to give a vocal more dynamic impact, allowing it to cut through a dense mix with clarity and power.

SYBIL Variable Frequency De-Esser

• Tames vocal sibilance with a flexible compressor that includes threshold, ratio, attack and decay controls.

• Also includes a variable highpass frequency filter to help match any vocal performance.

Auto-Tune 4

Pitch Detection and Correction

• Starts by instantaneously detecting the original pitch of a performance. The pitch detection algorithm is virtually instantaneous and used in combination with a slight delay of about 5 milliseconds, the detected pitch can be corrected, without artifacts, to the desired pitch

• The correction algorithm is extremely clean and transparent and introduces no distortion in the output. Over a typical pitch correction range, it is simply not possible to tell that a sound has been processed, except that it is perfectly in tune

Automatic Mode

• Automatic Mode works by continuously comparing the detected input pitch to a user-selected scale. The input is constantly corrected to the scale note that is closest to the detected input pitch

• Any key and scale can be selected - minor, major, chromatic and 26 historical and microtonal scales provide unprecedented control of the output tonality

• Specific Scale notes can be removed, allowing a wider range of pitch correction for neighboring notes

• Individual scale notes can be "bypassed," meaning that when the input pitch is near that note, the input is passed through with no correction. For those having trouble hitting a single note, bypassing all the rest of the scale notes will mean AUTO-TUNE will only apply correction to the problem note

Bass Mode

• Lowers the lowest detectable frequency by about one octave to 25Hz. Since the lowest E string on a bass guitar is approximately 41Hz, Bass Mode allows the user to apply pitch correction to fretless bass lines as well as other low bass range instruments

• The ability to set target pitches in real-time via MIDI from a keyboard or sequencer track. Additionally, one can now specify target note behaviors (scale note, remove, bypass) in individual octaves

• Virtual keyboard for target note control

• Improved targeting option for problem vibratos along with enhanced vibrato functions for more realistic (or wacky) vibratos

• Hold function to help analyze pitch errors

Graphical Mode

• Larger Pitch Edit display with expanded and reworked Graphical Editing Tools

• Vibrato Scaling for modifying the depth of vibrato while maintaining its shape and character
