Jobu Design Surefoot Grande Arca-Type Quick Release Plate

The Jobu Design Surefoot Grande is a 7" long Arca-Swiss type quick release lens plate designed to be used with super-telephoto lenses like a 400mm f/2.8, 500mm f/4, and 600mm f/4. This plate comes supplied with one 3/8" and two 1/4"-20 screws, in two slots, and provides a wide range of fore-aft adjustment to balance most camera and lens combinations.

Two "dead-stop" bolts prevent sliding out of the quick release clamp. Three drilled holes at one end allow for attaching most popular flash brackets.

Also compatible with the many other Arca-type quick release systems, e.g. Acratech, Foba, Graff, Wimberley, etc.

This is really necessary for using the gimbal head mount in order to balance the camera and lensees in the vertical plane of the gimbal articulation. When you change camera bodies or lenses their weight differences cause the balance point to change...by simply loosening the clamp of the gimbal mount, then sliding the Surefoot forward or back you can reestablish the balance point.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
