Lightweight and easy to setup, this Panel frame helps deliver excellent lighting control in studio and on location. I use the Litepanel frame along with the White translucent fabric panel to add extra control and softness to my photographs.Excellent if you are using a gridded or directional light source, as the light fall-off is smooth and even. The only con is the fabric had some heavy folds[...]I had to steam them out to get the fabric to stay nice and smooth.

Now i am an international buyer from europe - a few years ago i bought the 39 x 72 frame (which i still have) and its very good and strong. about a year ago i purchased 3 more to use in the studio but they are NOT the same size or strength as the one i bought 3 years ago - i Contacted Photoflex showing them photos of my warped frames with the frabrics on - they did not want to replace them and did not acknowledge that the newer models were flimsy - NOt a good recommendation for customer service and i was told they would be better after usage - now well over a year - they are still warped and bend in the middle about a 15 degree angle - If i ever purchase again i will go for the alluminium frames..

Comments about Photoflex 39x72" Lite Panel Frame - PVC:
I have purchased the aluminum 39x72 panel frame for use in the studio, do wish I had purchased it again instead of saving money. This panel is very easy to use, easy set up, everything it promises to be, which is very good and says a lot for its quality construction. I have noticed a slight bowing to it becuase of the pvc material. It will probably hold up well, and it still works great. I would recommend the better quality to a friend but this one is adequate.

I use this constantly for indoor sessions (it'd be great outdoors, but with it's size, it's going to soar away). It's easy to put together, rather compact for it's size (even with the legs, it takes up less room than a reflector and stand I've used before.

I 've used it in outdoor shoots, with some wind is necessary to fix it to the ground

Comments about Photoflex 39x72" Lite Panel Frame - PVC:
I support the fact that when shooting portraits, and generally, when shooting has to be one source of light: the sun, a flash, easy a lamp. And, if you stick to this concept, the light panel - an indispensable thing!
Regardless of whether you are shooting in the studio or en plein air, this device gives you the opportunity to get an almost perfect light and shadow allocation.
The only thing that will not allow you to use it - a strong wind during shooting on the street.
Oh, yes! One must - the shortcomings of ... I bought only the frame, but the proposed package. Here are just a black canvas will zaazat separately. The kit contains two white reflector, and black canvas - no. And so it is often necessary. But it's my fault, when ordering .))))
Still looking to buy.

I was shocked at just how light actually is. I've used other brand's version of this frame but Photoflex hit a home run with this! The frame is simple to assemble. The panels slip on easily. And the whole things is super light. The only thing I would worry about is extreme heat softening the pvc. But over all this is an incredible product at a very fair price!

Comments about Photoflex 39x72" Lite Panel Frame - PVC:
I was looking for something inexpensive that could be used in a portable studio and possibly for location shoots.
The PVC frame in this size wasn't up to the job. It might do OK in smaller sizes but the 72" sides bowed from the tension of the fabric. The sides were also not strong enough to support the weight of a frame with a fabric - holding the frame by one side caused it to buckle.
I did not try the aluminum frames, these might be OK. I did compare to the Westcott ScrimJim, Lastolite Skylighter and California Sunbounce. All three of those were much better quality (albeit at a significant price increase).

This product is nice and light weight. I have used both the aluminium and the pvc, while both are nice the aluminium is much sturdier. If you plan to use the pvc model in the wind I would recommend the braces to go with it.

I use this product for small group and individual portrait shoots. I love the ability to change fabrics and set up quickly. The only downside is this lightweight frame blows around in the wind, and can break under pressure if you're not careful.
