Comments about Raynox SRW-6600-58, 0.66x Wide Angle Lens (Black):
I use the Canon HFS100 and I had a problem in the past with filming my school's activities such as concerts and getting everyone in the frame of the camera. I bought the lens so that I could get the entire chorus in view from the limited distance that I had. What it did was far beyond my expectations. It not only allowed me to get the entire stage, but it also allowed me to zoom in some and still get the entire chorus but in more detail. Also, as an added bonus, it just makes your camera look that much more legit.

Comments about Raynox SRW-6600-58, 0.66x Wide Angle Lens (Black):
I was impressed by the clarity of this lens, but there is quite a bit of vignetting while attached to my Canon G11. I find that if I use a spacer ring and zoom out just slightly, the vignetting is reduced...thus resulting in less of a wide angle.

Comments about Raynox SRW-6600-58, 0.66x Wide Angle Lens (Black):
Used on a PD-150 and Canon HV30 (w/ 43-58mm step ring). Works well when at full wide. Noted blur vignetting and light smear whenever not at or near full wide on both cameras. Difficult to get sharp focus. Notably worse than Canon WD-58 lens, sadly only a little better than a $20 no-name [...] 0.5x WA lens I got at a yard sale. Wouldn't recommend the lens for running situations where you wouldn't readily be able to remove it the moment you didn't want the wide angle, but works fine for its specific purpose under controlled conditions.

Overall this is a great lens! The focus is great.
The sharpness is incredible. the only drawback is a little vignetting in the corners but this can easily be cropped out in photoshop.

I purchased the SRW-6600-58 0.66x Wide Angle Lens to use with my Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8-4.0 DG lens. My DSLR has a 1.5 multiplication factor due to the less than full size sensor. Using the Raynox lens gives me back my 28mm wide angle (vice 42 mm with the 1.5 multiplication factor). Works well with Pentax K10D. No vignetting, even image, no hit on the light gathering capability of the Sigma F2.8 lens.
