I bought this keyboard being a graduate student living in an apartment with not a lot of space and even less money. It is definitely good for the value. I would recommend buying some decent speakers though (it does not come with speakers so you'll need them anyway) in order to get the best sound from it. The keys are 'semi-weighted' so be aware of that. It's definitely better than non-weighted keyboards I've played before but know that semi-weighted and weighted are not the same thing! You still feel like you are playing a keyboard and not a piano. All in all reasonably priced and good for the casual piano player.

I purchased this keyboard for my 7 year old daughter who just started piano at school. It's perfect and really affordable. The weighted keys give her the necessary feel of a real piano for 1/3 of the cost. It also fits in her bedroom so much easier than a real piano. You just have to purchase speakers to hear any sound from this keyboard, it doesn't have built in ones.
