Photoflex LiteDisc Circular Reflector, Silver/Gold, 22" (56cm)
This is a Photoflex 22" (56cm), Silver/Gold LiteDisc collapsible reflector. Photoflex LiteDiscs and MultiDiscs are designed for use in the studio, or on location. They add light to shadow areas, add or subtract color casts, or diffuse harsh light.
LiteDiscs come in a variety of sizes: 12, 22, 32, 42, 52" circular, and 41 x 74" Oval.
MultiDiscs are available in 22, 32 and 42" circular sizes. MultiDiscs start as a White Translucent disc, with a reversible slipcover that provides white, silver, gold and soft gold surfaces.
Pick the size that is right for the size of your subject. Pick the color combination that is right for the ambient light, or your creative direction.
Each LiteDisc has a sturdy spring-steel frame that is covered by a heavy duty white fabric. With a twist of both wrists (and a little practice), they collapse to 1/3 their open sizes. Each comes with a nylon storage bag.
Insure consistency and ease of placement by ordering a LiteDisc Holder. The holder, combined with a light stand, acts as a second pair of hands, locking the disc in the exact desired position. The holder also helps your assistant hold the disc flat and steady, especially in outdoor breezes.

- Silver - Silver increases the specular highlights and yields a high-contrast, neutral to cool fill, depending on your main light source
- Gold - Same as silver, but with a warm tone -- best used outdoors near sunrise or sunset
- Soft Gold - Combination of gold and silver in a zebra pattern, with a semi-matte surface -- best for all-round fill
- White Translucent - Softens harsh light sources, may also be used as a reflector
- Black - Subtracts reflected light and color casts from intense backgrounds

I have a lowepro 200 backpack and this nicely, when folded, fits right into the upper section of the backpack so I can take it anywhere. It is great for getting shots of my children outdoors - being able to reflect either warm (gold side) or regular (silver side) light. Folds nicely back up inside bag when done.

Compact little reflector, that fits in my bag nicely. 22" is a bit small for any real results but sometimes its all you need, if your looking for portability for that just need a little something extra light situation its a good reflector, but in any other situations its just not quite enough.

If you do any type of portrait photography this is a must! Great for indoor/outdoor use, great for opening up those shadows without having to spend a lot of money on special equipment. It folds down small enough to keep in my camera bag.

Both the gold and the silver side does a good job reflecting the light towards the target. It is small and lightweight, and is easy to bring along. Always in my bag.
