I bought the LSB-2214 as a kit with the Photoflex Litedisc 5-in-1 and a telescopic Litedisc holder. At first, I found it easier to pat my head and rub my belly at the same time rather than figure out all that this can do. After about 15-20 min. of working with it I was using it like a pro! This stand and above mentioned accessories, has so many variations and uses that you can really be creative. You can put an off shoe flash on it and hold reflectors/diffusers too(and use it to fend off a stray dog at a local park while your client tries to climb a tree, not going to get into that). So, if your looking for an all in one type setup this is as close as your going to get.

This stand is fine if you dont plan on moving it much but once you do...
After about 5x of opening and closing this stand the bottom screw (for the pole) no longer tightens. The screw is fine but the hole it goes into is stripped. This happens when you use a better metal (screw) with junk metal (hole).
Cheap. Junk.

I use several of these stands to hold monolights and small to medium sized softboxes. It does both with aplomb. This stand is solid and the tensioners are made of metal and not plastic. I would buy this stand again.

After reading all the reviews on this product, I was convinced to spend the extra $ to get a good stand. Although I currently only own a speedlight, this stand will work with bigger lights when I get them! All the metal parts are great and not too heavy.

Easy to set up. very well built even the fittings are cast aluminum, like my old
Bogen light stands.
I wanted to purchase the bogen again but now it has plastic fittments, not good, as plastic eventually dries out and cracks, then what good is the stand.
This is the best stand for the money, will buy another two of these.
I use a large parabolic 60" umbrella and paul buff mono light and it holds it no problem. Do not wast your money on anything else. Buy this one.

A simple, solid, straight-forward lightstand.
Well built. Steady.
A little heavy, but in a good way. The weight increases its stability.
All in all a good buy.
