I bought this to use with a Sony Z7U. It is not weighted so all the weight is in your forearms and biceps. It gets tiring after a while without a counterweight. I have used it with the Rebel T2i but with the zaguto viewfinder it is worthless because the angles are terrible. This feels cheap. I can't believe I paid this much. Save your money or spend it on quality like Zaguto Vgrip or Redrock systems.

I got this years ago to use with a PD170 for that it was okay.

Now, I use it with my Canon T2i.

I bought this years ago for my PD170 mini dv rig for that it was okay.

Now, I have my Canon T2i on it and it is awesome.

You will need a view finder (loupe) as this puts the camera LCD 2 inches from your eye.

I would like to add a rail system for a matte box and follow focus.

I looked at dozens of these stabilizers before settling on this one. It works great and stabilizes the shot well but your arms will get mighty tired if it's a long shoot. Overall, it's well built and does the job, though.

it did the job but my arms were shaking after a while due to the weight. steadycam prefered or tripod.

This product is good, don't get me wrong. However it is too heavy to for long shoots, and not sturdy enough for one hand.
