"Good" construction. Good value. Does the job at a better price than most the competition. Double zippers are nice touch although I double bag sand to prevent spillage, their double zippers probably work as well I suppose but I don't like to take chances. I'll be ordering more.

Every bit as tough as a 'non-zip' rental house sandbag. There are a lot of cheap sandbags out there that rip apart after a few months and leak sand through the seams. These are not those type. I have several of these on my truck and they are built as good as any.

I use these sandbags to stabilize my light stands. Maui is windy and safety on location is important. The orange color helps visibility too. Double zipper keeps sand in. Made tough as dirt, as they say!

Does exactly what it is supposed to. Great quality and double zippers make this highly recommmended. Some people might prefer the black version, but the bright orange makes it a bit less likely (I hope) that someone runs into the stands.
I second putting the sand into plastic bags to prevent a potential mess.

These are really nice, sturdy bags, and US made too! I recommend placing sand inside ziplock bags inside of the sandbags. With the bags' double zipper system, you can feel confident that you can abuse and drop these bags from great heights without fear of breakage. The blaze orange color will help identify them and keep people from tripping over your light stands.

I have several sandbags and they are used for light stands, my tripod and so on. Why take the chance of a stand or tripod falling over.

And here's a tip. I place a big ziploc bag inside, fill the ziploc with sand and then tape the top of the ziploc to prevent any sand from leaking out.

Bought this to weight down my c stand with my BD on it. More than enough weight, good build quality, and for that price you cant beat it. A Must Buy!

Quality product and all u would want a sandbag to be. I use them to help secure my studio lights when filming indoors. I also use them to secure my vdeo camera when filming driving shots.

It is what it is, a great sandbag. Nice to be able to order it empty [...]Just pick up a bag of sand or small pebbles at a hardware store, fill it up, and you're ready to go! The orange color is good to add visual cues to assistants, clients and other around your gear that something "expensive to trip over and drop" is nearby...

Good quality. I originally bought a few of them for 2k molepars but they aren't quite heavy enough. These are great for anything smaller than that. I like the bright orange color to keep people from running into the lights.

As soon as I started draping these radioactive orange saddlebags over the legs of my Matthews C-Stands, incidences of falling light stands, due to wind or clumsy passers-by, stopped immediately.

Other reasons to love these bags:
-Made here in the U.S.A.
-Extremely durable
-Not so big and heavy that they're a burden to move or carry
-The highly visible color promotes a safe working environment. Your clients will notice and appreciate that.
-If you are photographing in the woods during hunting season, this color (a.k.a. "hunter's orange") will keep you from getting a load of buck shot in the rump.

Helpful hint: Use playground sand.
Another helpful hint: Put a quart-sized Ziplock bag in each zipper compartment, then fill the Ziplocks. That way, the sand granules don't get in between the zipper's teeth, AND if your bag ever gets wet, the sand won't. Yee hoo!

Buy as many as you can. Then ask for more as gifts. That's what I did! You won't regret it.
