Comments about Azden FMX-32 Microphone Field Mixer:
This tested well enough for us, but when we tried to use it in the downtown urban environment, it was picking up radio noise. Not shielded well enough, or something. We returned it.

Comments about Azden FMX-32 Microphone Field Mixer:
I bought the FMX-32 to use as a mixer to do some boom work. I have used it on several shoots and it really exceeded my expectations. It is super durable. (has an all steel casing)I would highly suggest it for these uses.

Comments about Azden FMX-32 Microphone Field Mixer:
I bought this item for less money than it was going to cost me to rent a JuicedLink for 3 weekends. Works well, batteries last all day, and it gives me a strong clean signal to my recorder. In fact the signal was so strong I had to step it down.

Comments about Azden FMX-32 Microphone Field Mixer:
This was my first field mixer. It did a good job, and didn't overwhelm me with too many options. After a bit of experience, though, it was time to move up to a truly professional mixer. I wish it had switchable mic/line output, but other than that, a very good first field mixer. Battery life is pretty good, too.

Comments about Azden FMX-32 Microphone Field Mixer:
I'm using this mixer for field video pickups, driving a camcorder mike input. I really like having a limiter on the output, but I'd gladly trade the monitor level control for a master gain pot.
The signals are nice and quiet through this mixer, with plenty of headroom.
