I am using this remote with my flat panel that is hung over my fireplace. This remote control is worth the price and time to set up. All my components were easy to set up and the remote was up and running is less then 1 hour with my t.v. Blu-ray, receiver, cable box, and IR control light switch. I love it and don't know what I did without it. Only one negative that I have about this is that there was some interference with my wireless router when I first set this up, but moving my 12" away and all the interference went away. This remote is great and I hope you will like it as well.

I bought it for my teenager nephew and he had no problem setting it up for all of his gadgets. The RF feature works great; it has no problem controlling the upstairs receiver from the basement. I highly recommend this product.

Bought this to replace a Next Generation remote extender that I fought with for three years. Easy to set up and program after a short learning curve. Worked right off the bat with no problems or regrets. At its current price it is a great value. Blaster is included and works great.

Overall the product worked well and was easy to setup. Unfortunately, the main component I needed it to work with was the AT&T cable box. It would control the power but that was about it. My TV was outside and my components were inside under the countertop in a cabinet about 30' away and reception was good.

Works out perfectly. Have yet to program macros or make changes to the default items, but after only about 10 minutes, things were working as expected. Love the additional range. Great!

I have had the RFS200 for just a few weeks but I am quite satisfied. With the help of the manual I managed to quickly find the appropriate codes to control my Cable TV box, my Yamaha amplifier and my Pioneer DVD player. I have not yet had time to play much with the IR extension plugs since the RF receiver's IR signals seem to reflect on several surfaces and that has proved enough to control the equipment. I can't find (yet) anything negative to say, except, perhaps, that the LCD screen is not very engaging;-)

I use this product to control all my electronic equipment in the room. It was easy to program and the micro multi step function is amazing you simply push Cable button and power and the TV comes on changes to the correct input, the stereo receiver powers up and selects the correct input and then the cable box comes on so you just have to type in the channel you want! The wireless range is great and allows you to hide equipment. I can use it anywhere in my house and even outside by the pool. With this remote I can watch anything from my Cable DVR box in any room of my house. I have owned one other remote from Universal and it still works 5 years later. I have not found a function on any device that this remote can't do. You can buy more expensive remotes that do the same or less! This model gives you everything you need to start controlling everything, anywhere in your house. The other brands charge you more just for the wireless add on module than this complete kit!!!

By far this is the only remote to get. I just returned a higher priced remote but this one is the best yet. You can learn a command from the original remote or use the list of numbers. The remote is lighted, comfortable in the hand and I can feel the various buttons for vol. ch. etc.

This solved the problem of having to rent another cable box from Comcast for my upstairs bedrooms.

The wireless base connected quickly and easily. Once I set the remote control to operate my Comcast box, everything worked. No matter where I clicked on the remote...perfect.

Now, of course, the cable box tunes to the same station for all the rooms since it's not a dual tuner box but that's no problem for a single viewer.

A very good solution to control your devices like your dvr, vcr, amplifier, blue disc player and more from one location. And reasonable, too.

Plus, I didn't even have to use the wire plugs which are used when the wireless unit is inside an enclosure as the base unit was sensitive enough to work alone.

I'd recommend this item 100%

Got this remote for future expansion so I can control my cable box with the RF capabilities in the basement for my upstairs TV which we don't use as much. So far it is a nice handy remote. IR power is wonderful compared to the original remote that came for the TV. Setup was a breeze. This remote is very intuitive to setup and use. My only complaints about the remote are (and they are not very big complaints) are the backlighting isn't wonderful in red. Again not that big of deal just wished it would be in green so it would be easier to see. And the other complaint is my fingers keep going to the buttons below the volume and channel switches for the mute and recall buttons. Instead I end up pressing the TV menu button and exit button. Intuitively the mute and recall would have been better placed at these locations but oh well. My problem, not really the remotes. So in summary if you want a powerful well balanced remote don't hesitate to buy this! [...]

This thing is fantastic! Works great. Use it to control two tv's in different rooms operating off the same satellite reciever. Learns any remotes functions! Easy setup. Only problem that can happen is if your neighbor has one too and has same components --- you end up controling each others stuff --- thats bad.

I have an old receiver, so I needed a remote with RF frequency so I could turn up the volume while outside. This fits the bill, works from my deck/patio 100 or so feet away and through 2 walls. Pretty cool how you can hit the volume from the neighbors yard. The only downside is that one of my neighbors has the same remote and booster and occasionaly the tv channels will change via HIS remote.

I still use my MX-850 remote in another room, so I have experience with these remotes. This is replacing my Samsung, Onkyo & cable remotes. Once I got everything programmed, it was a breeze to use. You MUST read the manual carefully so as not to get frustrated along the way! Great in low light situations. After you get this set up, you never have to worry about pointing the remote again. I got mine from B&H Photo, priced very competitively[...] I would highly recommend this remote. Remember to keep your other remotes in a safe place so when you update your components and resell them, the remotes are available.
