The Edirol/Roland V-440 HD is a powerful, HDTV, RGB video mixer capable of switching between four cameras, graphics or video tape decks during a live performance with smooth transitions and special effects. This device has the capability to input 4 SD video sources and 4 HD or RGB video sources; the V-440HD enables seamless mixing and switching of multi-format video signals.

Mix Multiformat Signals
With a single unit allowing images with different aspect ratios (16:9 or 4:3), the V-440HD can also be used as an independent SD mixer or HD/RGB mixer.
Equipped with High-Performance SD-to-HD/RGB Up-Converter
The V-440HD features an up-converter that converts SD output to the final output format. This system enables up-conversion of SD video to HD and RGB with superior image quality.
Two-Channel Digital Effects
Add various effects like PinP, 2 Keyers or transitions and this unit becomes the center of all your multi-format video production.
Memory Function
The V-440's memory function allows the memorization and convenient recall of panel settings, such as effect assignment to each button. The memory stores up to eight configurations and keeps stored settings even with the power off.
Synchronization with MIDI Equipment
The V-440 features video transitions and effects that can be synchronized with MIDI. The BPM (beat per minute) of transitions and effects can be made to follow the beat of a music track by using the TAP function. The functions of the V-440 can also be controlled via MIDI equipment such as a MIDI keyboard controller. The V-LINK feature allows the triggering of clips, video effects and transitions in real time when connected with the optional Edirol DV-7PR Digital Video Presenter.
