The MXL Desktop Recording Kit is a simple solution for the recording enthusiast, Pod-caster and home studio engineer. The kit includes a 9-volt battery powered condenser microphone, desk-top stand, XLR to mini microphone cable and iBooster preamplifier designed for the line inputs found on Apple Mac's. The iBooster is a simple preamplifier device designed to amplify the microphone signal and enable the microphone to be connected to the line level input of Mac based desktop computers.
The microphone features a cardioid pickup pattern that minimizes noise and ambiance at the indirect sections of the microphone capsule, perfect for environments where background noise is an issue. Additional accessories include a microphone clip, recording guide and storage case. The Desktop Recording Kit is ideal for recording home demos, voice-overs, Pod-casting and more.
