The MD-P1-S Motion Dive Tokyo Performance Package from Edirol/Roland is a software-hardware combination package that is designed as a video performance instrument. The package consists of the renowned Motion Dive Tokyo Performance Package visual software and an MD-P1 dedicated control console. This combination allows visual performances to be taken to a new level of artistry using intuitive DJ mixer-like controls such as crossfaders and knobs.

Using this package, visuals can be played and remixed in real-time along with music. Other key features include a two-channel video controller and smooth A/B fader to alternate between channel A and B, and buttons that allow you to "scratch" with clips rhythmically. Control knobs also allow you to manipulate color-EQ effects and beats per minute. Images can even be generated from note and velocity information input via external MIDI devices, such as Roland's V-Drums, synthesizers, and sequencers.

Motion Dive accepts QuickTime movies and most formats from digital cameras, as well as AVI, MPEG, and Adobe Flash files. Both the connection to your computer and power source are provided through the controller's USB connection. The operation panel features knobs and dedicated buttons that allow you to assign clips smoothly. This package is compatible with Mac (OSX) and PC computers (Windows XP/2000).
