Comments about Lowepro Rolling Compu Trekker AW Backpack:
Part of the reason I bought this bag was because other reviewers said that it was smaller than they thought it would be.I only have one camera body, four(small)lenses and a flash, so I was attracted to the fact that it can be rolled or used as a backpack because I do a lot of landscape and city photography. But I was surprised to find that when I had all my gear(which isn't much at all, compared to some)in the bag it weighed almost 20 POUNDS! Not so good for trekking. And I did not find it small by any means. I'm 5'6 and it looks almost like a backpacking backpack on me and it's almost as cumbersome. Not all that great for travel photography in large cities and small shops. However,If you are a portrait or wedding photographer, this bag would be wonderful and I would recommend it wholeheartedly. The craftsmanship and quality of the bag is stellar and you will not have to worry about broken zippers or ripped pockets. The frame of the bag is very hard and sturdy and will do a great job of protecting your equipment which undoubtedly contributes to the weight. The bottom line is,depending on what kind of photography you do,this bag is worth the money, just note how much bag you're actually getting.

Comments about Lowepro Rolling Compu Trekker AW Backpack:
I love the bag and how it is put together, but when you get it loaded, you need someone else to carry it. The wheels are a too small and cause the bag to spin when pulling the bag. Overall the bag is a great bag to store camera gear in but too big and too bulky for the trip unless you opeate out of car .

Comments about Lowepro Rolling Compu Trekker AW Backpack:
I decided to get this when i found the Rolling Compu Trekker PLUS AW too large for my liking.
I use this back regularly when i travel or i have to carry lots of equipment.
Fully-loaded ( with some adjustments of the removeable inserts ) i can pack :
1 x Nikon D700 w MB-D10 battery pack ( packed on the sides )
5 x SB900 speedlights (standing)
1 x 70-200 zoom
2 x small lenses
What i like about this bag is :
1. Its very well built.
- The main carry handle strap on the top can take the strees of bearing a fully-loaded pack for those occasions you need to carry it that way for a while.
-The single-shaft T-bar pull handle, you can grab it at the base (thicker girth) and lift up the bag for those occasions you transition from a train platform into the train.
- The Zipper on the main compartment is big and opens smooth and has not jammed yet.
2. It is versatile.
- Converting it into a backpack is easy and takes less than 30 seconds
What i DON'T like :
1. The bag has tendency to twist on the extension bar axis sometimes when you are rolling it on the pavement.
If i could suggest some improvements, they would be:
1. Using a 2 bar extension instead of 1
2. expandable outer compartment

My .02 Cents
-Nice rolling bag
-Size is OK.. It looks bigger in pictures.
-Small bag but pretty bulky because of the padding and the shoulder straps.
-It does fit in the overhead compartment of the airplane
-Not really designed to carry a camera with a lens attached
-Very smooth rolling wheels
-Good quality construction
-It only fits a 12 inch screen laptop computer in the sleeve provided
-It will fit a 14 inch screen computer whn you do not use the sleeve
-not designed for the bigger zoom lenses
-flashes must be laid on its side
-This bag is for the beginner to intermediate photog... experts will definitly need a bag better suited.

Comments about Lowepro Rolling Compu Trekker AW Backpack:
I travel and needed a protective case that was on wheels. I like the space available for the accessories, cf cards, etc, as well as the construction of the case. I had to transport all cameras without lenses attached to accomodate them. Having a battery pack/grip makes for a very tight fit. Those would be the only drawbacks to this product.

Comments about Lowepro Rolling Compu Trekker AW Backpack:
This is my main camera bag. Currently it contains my Nikon D300 with an 18-200mm lens, 70-200 lens, speedlight, 105mm lens and a wide angle. Very happy with one MAJOR drawback. My D300 with the vertical grip attached is a VERY tight fit in the main camera body compartment. Even though the bag is advertised for professionls, all of whom have a camera of this dimension.
