Photoflex Umbrella with Adjustable Frame - White with Black Backing - 45"
Umbrellas soften, broaden, and diminish the light output of any tungsten or flash light source. Umbrellas with a white interior will soften and weaken light more than an umbrella with a silver lining.
Choosing umbrella size is determined by the size of the subject, and the strength of the light supply being used. Choosing an umbrella surface is as subjective as choosing a paint and brush.

- Adjust the shape of the highlight and the light coverage from round, to square to rectangular.

This is one of the best umbrellas I've used. It produces very even lighting with no color cast. After photographing groups of three to ten people I've often been surprised at how even the light is, especially when using just one strobe for the main light. Well made with quality materials. PhotoFlex products are very good quality.

This is a great photo umbrella with the interesting ability to adjust to a square framed if desired. Switching between normal (round) and square is too easy and does not take much time - certainly less than one minute. I'm learning how to light my photos with only a speedlight and haven't used any other umbrellas before. However, I've read many reviews and blogs, and I have an eye for quality. The fabric is sturdy and looks like it will withstand years of hard use. The velcro is firmly stiched in place with no loose or frayed edges. The shaft seems solid - not hollow - and requires no DIY modification. Overall I'm very pleased with my umbrella and would buy it again.
