Akai HDM-10 - Hard Drive Adapter Kit for MPC1000/MPC2500
The HDM-10 from Akai is a hard drive adaptor kit for the MPC1000 and MPC2500 sampler/sequencer workstations. Using this adapter allows you to install an internal hard drive to your workstation for greatly increased storage capacity.

Fit right onto the hard drive. Variable screw holes will meet the needs of your specific drive. It fit perfectly into the MPC1000 HD port, and screwed in nicely.

This is the only way to to get an internal hard drive into your MPC1000, so it's a great product. Hard drives are running at roughly a dollar a gig now, so it makes sense to upgrade your MPC with this. Most places that carry this (like the DJ sites) require you to set up an account with all your personal information and also charge way over list price. Get it at B&H for the best price and use Google Checkout to keep your info secure. Installation videos are on youtube.
