I bought a PSC-55 back in 2006 for my SD630. That model was also a generic SD case that fit a few models. The SD630 was one of the smaller cameras and it didn't fit quite well in the case. Also, that case had another problem. It had Velcro closure. This was bad because when the original cloth strap would touch the Velcro, the Velcro would "chew it up" and fray and destroy it. NEVER USE THE INCLUDED LEATHER STRAP because that strap has a metal emblem that will scratch the body of your camera as the coating Canon uses is very sensitive to touch.
The new PSC-55 addresses these issues. Instead of a Velcro closure, you get a magnetic button closure. This has another benefit as it is much quieter when opening. This is useful if you are in a quiet room and you don't want to hear the sound of Velcro opening.
Also the newer version is made of a better material. It appears to be fake leather like the other case but the material on this unit appears nicer and smoother.
This case fits my SD870IS flawlessly. It just slides in and out.
This is a must have accessory. Especially considering that they improved it.

Comments about Canon PSC-55 Case:
This is a very nice little case. It does not add much bulk to the camera but provides plenty of protection. The magnetic snap allows for quick access but stays closed when not in use.

Comments about Canon PSC-55 Case:
I bought this case for the Powershot 300 HS Digital ELPH Camera. Good case but its a really snug fit for my camera. The case could have been a little wider. I hope the case does not scratch up my LCD screen because of the fit. There is no pockets for batteries or extra SD cards. The case looks good and fits into my pocket for easy use. Its good for most of my needs.

Comments about Canon PSC-55 Case:
Great little case for a great little price. Before I got the case, I would put my Canon Elph in my pocket and quite often, the "on" button would get pushed accidentally. The PSC-55 solved this problem. It is still compact enough to fit in a pocket, but provides good protection for the camera.

I'm hard on my cameras; they go with me everywhere. This case is light weight and slips onto my belt making it easy to take hiking. It's not any bigger than it needs to be and looks nice to boot!

Comments about Canon PSC-55 Case:
I used the case to protect my camera on my recent trip abroad. I found it to be a very solid case that I felt protected my camera well. It is compact, lightweight, and provides easy camera access. It would have been better had there been a neck strap attachment.

Comments about Canon PSC-55 Case:
I use this product for my Canon SD960 IS. It provides a solid fit and seems to protect my camera very well with no scratches or markings to date. I like that the Canon emblem is a brushed piece and not polished as I am sure in the long run it will not show scratches as easily as a polished emblem would.
