I have a webcam site and I do extensive photography. I use Photoshop CS3 and have used Photoshop and Premiere since they were introduced. I thought I was good at monitor calibration with adobe gamma, nvidia calibration, etc etc.
The Spyder2express did a better job in 5 minutes than I can do in a hour (or forever). It was a huge improvement in all my color matching, print, monitor, and webcam color balancing.
I have two computers that use the same monitor. I switch back and forth with an iogear kvm. One PC has a high end graphics board, the other a cheap board for my webcam. The spyder2 calibrated both PC's to the same monitor so well that I can't tell the difference when quickly switching between computers on the display. It worked better than I had hoped. I may not need to upgrade to the spyder3 but I may do it to get control of monitor color temperature.

So simple even a caveman could use it! I bought this product because I realized I needed to calibrate my monitor in order to ensure consistency between what I was seeing on my monitor at home and the prints I'd be ordering from a lab. Since I was just becoming aware of the whole concept of color management, I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars, and I didn't want a product so complicated that learning how to use it would turn into a hobby in itself. The Spyder2express was exactly what I was looking for: Affordable, easy to use, and the results are great. The prints I ordered from the lab after calibrating my monitor looked like what I saw on my monitor.

Great product for people with limited knowledge of color management. The spyder2Express does not allow you to make a wrong choice in the settings. It is pretty much auto everything. It does it job and is a must have for every photographer or graphic designer at any level.

I calibrated my laptop with this system, and it works fairly well. I think it is designed to work more closely with CRT's, but I could be wrong. It did me well. IT was plug and play to set up my monitor. Easy to use.

The Spyder2Express does exactly what it says.
Many of my pictures were printing dark and muddy before calibration. Turns out my iMac monitor was a bit too bright. I didn't see too much difference between the uncalibratied vs. calibrated monitor pictures but it was very noticable in my printed pictures and computer monitors of my clients when viewing proofs of their pictures.
This product is very well priced and should a part of every photographers equipment.
My only regret? Not having this on my B&H wish list earlier (as it should've been one of my FIRST purchases!).
I will not ever go without having a monitor properly calibrated again!

I was blown away at how easy the calibration was and at the dramatic results. I see a much broader range of colors and allows photo editing to be much more accurate. I purchased the Spyder 2 Express while I had an XP machine and was concerned that it would not work with recent upgrade to Vista64. Spyder2Express worked great on the old machine and handled the upgrade like a charm. I've been pleased with the results and ease of use.

Easy to use and setup, about 20 minutes to get accurate color setup and calibrate. Would like to see a stronger manual had to recalibrate 3 times due to lighting in the room. Good overall value though

I thought my monitors were very good in their color accuracy until I used the Syder2express. I was sitting back yesterday reviewing with a client their photos when I saw them sitting side-by-side with the monitor. The detail and color were spot on comparing the person to what I saw on my monitor. I was very happy to see how accurate my color is now Thanks to the Syder2express.
