Roku Soundbridge M1001 Network Music Player

The Soundbridge M1001 Network Music Player from Roku allows you to play digital music from your Mac or PC computer anywhere in your home. You can wirelessly stream music from your computer to your stereo with ease. The player supports standard digital music formats as well as streaming internet radio. This is an excellent solution to play your digital music on your home stereo.

Key Features

• Large VFD Display: The large VFD display features 280 x 16 pixel resolution, allowing it to display 2 lines of text. You can even set it to a "big line" mode to use a 16-pixel font to display what's playing, allowing you to more easily read the display from across a room.

• Software Compatibility: The player is compatible with many different digital music file formats including MP3, WMA, AAC, AIFF and WAV. It will also play Windows Media DRM protected music from such services as Napster, MusicMatch, WalMart and more. The player does not playback music downloaded from the iTunes Music Store.

• WiFi and Ethernet Support: The player will work with your 802.11b/g wireless network, allowing you to easily install it without having to run any wires between your computer and the player. For users without a wireless network, the player will also connect via a standard ethernet cable connection.

• Digital Output: In addition to the standard analog output, the Soundbridge features both optical and coaxial digital audio connectors. This gives you optimal sound quality when connecting to your home stereo system.

• Expandable: You can connect up to 10 SoundBridge devices to a computer using Windows Media Connect, or up to 5 to one running iTunes. This lets you stream music to all areas of your home, making it an ideal solution for parties and gatherings.

• Remote Control: The included remote control lets you control the playback of your music, allowing you to change or pause tracks without having to go back to the computer to do so.
