The Tiffen 4 x 4" Bronze Glimmerglass 0.5 Filter is a diffusion filter.  The premise is when you "look good", you "feel good." People always want to look their best -particularly in pictures. With the addition of this bronze tint, Tiffen makes that happen.

When production starts and people see the filter "glittering" on the front of the lens, they become more confident that the filter is working for them and they may turn in a better performance. It's like holding up a mirror to your subject. The added benefit of a "bronze glow" around the highlights is that it adds an element of glamour to the shot - with your subject reaping the rewards of diffusion.

The effect of the lighter grades is subtle, with the higher grades becoming gradually more noticeable - all capable of providing a beautiful image.
