Comments about Dynalite Jackrabbit Pack II with 3 Hour Charger:
I've owned several after market batteries and the Jackrabbit beats them all hands down. More power, faster recharge to full load, very durable, etc. Too many issues with Quantum products so gave up. Jackrabbits have lasted me for years without failure. I've never exhausted one on a shoot.

Comments about Dynalite Jackrabbit Pack II with 3 Hour Charger:
We're a busy commercial studio, and have used all kinds of battery packs such as Quantum etc.
The best battery pack I have used in over 20 years Is the Jackrabbit II. Never had an issue. We use it to fire both Speedlite flashes, as well as the UNI400 units.

Comments about Dynalite Jackrabbit Pack II with 3 Hour Charger:
Battery did not work properly, purchased kit to be able to use the light on location, tried it out at home, had to plug the light in and then plug battery back in to get it to work, went on location and it wouldn't work. Have read other people have had the same issues.

Comments about Dynalite Jackrabbit Pack II with 3 Hour Charger:
Good reliable units. They can do two duties, portable camera flash also with slave units and the Dynalite 400uni Jr. strobe heads. The weight is light and just clipss to a belt or pants. Plus the upgrade model is better when you recharge them not have to worry about overcharging.

Comments about Dynalite Jackrabbit Pack II with 3 Hour Charger:
The jackrabbit is ok for a battery pack but very delicate and expensive to fix.Just how expensive?Well, in the last year I owned mine - it went back to the factory for major repairs 4 times. Each time costing at least $100. Almost all of the internal components were replaced at least once. The last time it failed (in the middle of an event!), sparking and arcing noises came out of the unit and then it started smoking, leaving the smell of fried electronics. When I sent it back to Dyna-lite (for the 5th time in about 14 months), they informed me that while it should do that, they still had to charge me for parts - [$]! If this was the first time it had to go back, fine but honestly my battery pack had been to NJ so often it could vote in that state! Needless to say, I was speechless when the technician (John) explained that there was nothing they would do and either I pay the [$] or the unit doesn't get fixed. As a working professional, I would have to rent a Quantum Turbo battery pack to shoot my scheduled gigs while my Jackrabbit pack was being repaired. To be honest, after all that I gave up on Dyna-Lite as a company and never went back to get my dead Jackrabbit and will be selling my Uni400 (which has been repaired with blown components 3 times in the last 2 years).

I am a full time professional wedding photographer. [...] I've used Quantum and Digital Camera Battery. I prefer the Jackrabbit. Small and fast. It's hot so use their cable only.
