MicroSync Motor Drive Cord (2.5mm Subminiphone) f/ Canon EOS Elan II & 7 Series, Rebel Series (Digital/35mm), Pentax K100/K200 & *ist D/DL/DS Series
This MicroSync Motor Drive Cord will allow you to trigger any camera, flash, or other device using the 2.5mm subminiphone connection wirelessly-at a distance of up to 100 feet (multiple factors affect triggering range).
This cord's actually properly specified as male 2.5mm subminiphone 'mono' to male 2.5mm subminiphone 'stereo'. One end (the 'mono' end with 1 black sleeve upon tip) connects to the MicroSync receiver, and the other ('stereo') end of this cord connects to the camera.
Compatible cameras with the 2.5mm subminiphone includes the Canon Elan II/IIE, Elan 7/7E, Digital Rebel, Digital XT, Rebel Ti, 2000, G, GII, X, XS, IX and IX Lite as well as Pentax ZX-L, *ist series, K100 & K200 series. The Metz single pin connection is also a 2.5mm subminiphone specification.
Note! One side of cord is 'mono' & other side 'stereo' version of 2.5mm subminiphone. Stereo element is irrelevant when triggering 'mono' subminiphone devices (Metz single pin), but cameras almost universally 'stereo'. With cameras, connect cord's 1-black-sleeve end to MicroSync receiver & 2-black-sleeve end w/ camera.
