The Multiphones system from Henry Engineering provides reliable listening facilities for DJs and studio guests, each with their own headphone amplifier, volume control, and jacks.
The master unit can support up to 12 guest pods, which connect using standard CAT5 cables. With inputs for program audio and talkback audio, the master unit also has master level trimmers for pre-setting maximum user levels. The talkback system overrides normal program audio and allows a producer or engineer to speak to guest pod listeners.
The system is optimized for high-efficiency headphones, but any combination of different headphones can be used since each guest pod has its own headphone amp. The unit has a built-in power supply and can be rack, wall, or cabinet mounted.
