The Sony HKD-W102 is an SDTI interface board for HDW-2000 series VTRs. Serial Data Transport Interface (SDTI) is a method by which specific formats can be transmitted via SDI connection to various devices with no quality loss. The compressed format data can be streamed directly, bypassing analog to digital transfers and media transports.
