Doran DV-99 8x8" Light Tight Darkroom Louver for D-68 and DVM-199 Fans
Each Doran Light Tight Darkroom Louver is designed to supply just the right amount of air to a particular model exhaust fan.
Note: exhaust fans work best in a darkroom equipped with fresh air supply louvers or some other kind of air supply. If there is no air supply to the darkroom the fan will be working against a vacuum and can do nothing.

Although I began using digital cameras ten years ago, I continued to shoot film as well. Recently, I decided to take my enlarger out of storage and resurrect my home darkroom, which will be in the kitchen of my apartment. Ventillation was needed and this light tight darkroom fan suited the purpose perfectly. It was installed in a board which covers the window to block light. The unit seems well made and it works as intended.

I installed these louvers in the doors of our small dark rooms to eliminate back pressure created when a door was closed. This cut down on the ceiling lifting causing dust in the air and any dust in the room being disturbed.
