Cartoni A303 Ultra-Light Single Stage Carbon Fiber Tripod

I'm giving these legs a 4 star for one simple reason. They don't include the rubber screw on feet as pictured. This would have been nice to see in the documentation from Cartoni.
The spiked feet are threaded and you need to order the rubber feet separately. These legs will do you no good on a wooden floor. Very sharp and I actually prefer the rubber feet instead.
They include a nice mid-level spreader with solid build quality. Metal rails and nice big knobs to lock the spreader down. The levers on the sides of the spreader release it from the legs so it's removable.
The latches feel a little cheap but I think they're made of a hard density plastic composite. Not sure if that's to save on weight or what. The legs are VERY light. Really amazing actually that it can support 135 lbs.
With the Cartoni FocusHD tripod head, these fold to 40" without the feet and about 42" with the rubber feet screwed in.

i really like these sticks. super light but rigid. doesn't say on the site but they come with mid-spreader. locks are great.

Build - FANTASTIC!Weight - like a freaking feather. I'm still amazed how light this thing is considering its size and weight limit!Function - The legs lock rock solid (not at first because they are lubed really well, but after a little use the grease wears off and the legs lock like a champ!) Mid level spreader is great and locks easily and not flimsy like other brands I've worked with. Great Great Great! BUT.... The legs did not include rubber feet, only the built in pointed screws, so don't scoot it around on hardwood floors (like a chalk board!) or dig em into the grass/dirt! No Carry bag. Also does not include a 100mm Ball. But who cares, they are [$]...Overall this tripod blows my older units out of the water! Even though it has one extension, the thing is so tall you only need that one extension. PLUS the carbon fiber makes it look SHARP! Cartoni is the way to go and you will NOT regret this purchase at all!
